Hello Stephen. I know you won't get to read this, but I wanted to say, nonetheless, that I am very sorry for what has happened. Your photographs are lovely and I think that you would have had a wonderful future. I hope the people left behind, your mother and your brother, find peace in their futures and look back with love and affection at the times they spent with you.

Such a truly talented young man, who lived life to its fullest despite the challenges which faced him. Such a tragedy to have his young life cut short. My heartfelt condolences to his mother and brother from Ottawa.

I found this blog after the death of Stephen off the coast of BC earlier this week. What incredible photos he took. Great talent. Tragic accident took this young artist far too young at age 17. His images show that people with Downs Syndrome can do incredible things. Hopefully his family will find some solace in looking at his wonderful images.

The world has lost a special visionary - I am so very sorry. I hope this site and your father's will stay up for us to continue to enjoy and remember you. Lisa
